Periodic Withdrawal / SWP Calculator

Estimate how long an invested balance lasts when you withdraw a fixed amount every month.

What is a systematic withdrawal plan?

A systematic withdrawal plan (SWP) lets you draw a fixed amount from an invested balance at regular intervals while the rest stays invested and keeps earning returns. It models regular withdrawals month by month: each month the balance earns its return, then your withdrawal is taken out. If your withdrawals outpace the returns, the balance declines and can eventually be depleted. This calculator assumes a single constant rate and ignores fees and taxes, so treat the results — including any depletion date — as estimates for planning, not guarantees.
